Summer is on its way, and the temperature has already started to go up. To beat the heat (and add a little fun to the day) we’ve created three mouth-watering CBD smoothies for you to try at home.

Peanut butter and Jelly smoothie:

Mom’s peanut butter and jelly gets a major upgrade in this CBD, berry, and peanut butter smoothie! The ingredients are things you probably already have in your fridge plus our raspberry CBD tincture. This smoothie is packed full of protein and sweetened naturally by fruit so while it may taste like an indulgence, your body will be thanking you. The raspberry CBD tincture matches the flavor of the smoothie beautifully, making you wonder why you haven’t been adding CBD to all your smoothies.

Ingredients:

1 cup milk or milk alternative

1 Banana

1 cup Frozen berries 

1 Heaping spoonful peanut butter

1 ml Hugs Raspberry CBD Tincture 

 

Method:

Combine in a blender until desired consistency, enjoy! 

 

Mango Banana Smoothie

This mango banana smoothie is more traditional but still packed with plenty of fun. The milk and yogurt create a smooth and creamy texture to balance out the sweetness of the fruit. Our recipe calls for dairy, but any milk or yogurt alternative will work great. 

Ingredients 

1 mango, peeled, seeded, and sliced or 1 cup frozen mango

1 banana

1 cup vanilla yogurt (or dairy-free alternative)

1 cup milk or alternative milk

1 ml Hugs Mango CBD Tincture

 

Blend until smooth 

 

Green Smoothie

A green smoothie may seem a little far fetched but when your favorite leafy greens are combined with the right fruit, magic can happen. Leafy greens such as spinach and kale are some of the most nutrient-dense foods out there and can contribute to a healthy diet. Don’t let the thought of adding kale to your breakfast turn you off this smoothie, the sweetness of the peaches and banana make it easy to drink your greens. 

Ingredients 

1 cup milk or milk alternative

1 peach, pitted and chopped

1 cup chopped kale or baby kale

1 ripe banana 

1 ml Hugs Mango tincture

4 ice cubes

 

Blend all ingredients except ice until creamy, add ice if desired, and blend until smooth.


All three smoothies are delicious ways to beat the heat and the CBD is the perfect addition for a relaxing and refreshing summer day.
