Google searches for the query “what is CBD?” reached an all time high in March. Thousands and thousands of people are searching for an answer. It’s safe to say that CBD is the most popular product of the year, so far, but what is it?

CBD is short for cannabidiol, a chemical compound in found in Hemp. There’s been quite a few studies done on the health benefits of CBD, but we will cover those in a different post. Here, we’ve thrown together a little primer to get you familiar with the three main types of CBD you’ll encounter as you search. We use Full Spectrum and Broad Spectrum hemp extract in all of our products.
